A mother and daughter embark on a journey back in time to uncover generational trauma from WW2. A bond between the two grows as the stories from Debbie’s (mother) past come to light. From growing up in poverty with her 15 siblings, coping with parental abuse and overcoming pain and suffering, Debbie finds Buddhism as a gateway to freedom.
